apathetic to the new season?

It should be an honour to watch legends like Scholes, Giggs & Neville for another season, but at the moment it feels desperate that we're reliant on them. Embarassing almost. After Owen, Diouf, Smalling, Little Pea a big signing to really ignite the curiosity is a necessity - I don't think we'll get it either for obvious reasons.

Tbf, I think he already shown himself to be a cut above the other two "strikers" you mentioned

(even before he has played a game for us too!)

Quite probably, but we'd all rather Benzema or Fabiano or Ozil or Gourcuff etc etc etc... he could & might be exciting, but you know the names would give us something to genuinely look forward to.

Hernandez has a Ronaldo-esque sense of expectancy after we saw him for Sporting against us.Really looking forward to seeing him play for us. And you never know who else will be coming in (please, no doom.)

The likes of cleverly, james, king, keane, evans jr and pogba won't even be given a sniff at playing in the 1st team. They may get the odd carling cup game but they'll be alonside dross like owen and o'shea and struggle.

yep - that's my take on it. And Spurs/Massives will be a Saturday tv game as well. As it's the geordies 1st game back and against us think we will be the other. Probably the ESPN tea time game.

Dippers is bound to be Sunday - no champs league week following and they are on Channel 5 Thursday before.

is there a site where you can compare last seasons fixture list with this one? just to check the randomitity* of it all?
