To be fair, they’re not exactly expansive but certainly all know their role. It’s about having quality, mental strength & organisation. Simeone isn’t dissimilar to Jose in many regards, but he has had a long time to stamp his personality on that side. All credit to him, he should leave this summer for Chelsea or Arsenal though imo.

somehow Simeone has managed to blend pragmatism with quick attacking football, wish we had some of that

Not sure it’s much of a shock that the side 2nd in La Liga, above the reigning European Cup winners, should beat them comfortably.
