Hard to argue with any of what he says tbf. United handled it £#%&!ing terribly. It was definitely time for him to leave at the end of that season, but £#%&!inghell- do the change with a bit of class.

He has a point. I hate sneaks; just be a man and be honest with the guy. If he throws a strop and tries to sabotage the season then sack him, but then it would be for cause and on him. This way is worse.

That said, the notion that the former players were having a pop because of some orchestrated plan is ludicrous. Maye they were saying we were awful to watch simply because we were awful to watch; it was their job after all.

Interesting what he said about only wanting 2 years and United pushing for 3.. wonder if they had ideas that Giggs would be able to step in after 2 and the third was a safety net. Mourinho becoming available changed everything.

Fair comment and fair £#%&!s to him.

Another nonsensical reply. You really are losing it man.

It should come as no shock you keep sticking up for him though; after all, his playing style bears more than a passing resemblance to your posting style. A certain kinship perhaps?

This bit is spot on. There was no need for the cloak and dagger skulduggery, but unsurprising given the shithouse nature of worms like Woodward, the Glazers and Mourinho.

Jose was available after being sacked by Chelsea, and Van Gaal only wanted two years anyway. Why not just announce it that Mourinho would be taking over in the summer, and Van Gaal's wish for two years had been granted by the club.

Would have been a much classier and dignified handover, and Louis could have gone into retirement with a proper send-off having won the FA Cup, and blooded a core youth group that would carry United forward into their next great era. Guess he did that anyway, tbf.
