Roy Keane superb player ,and a mans man when talking ,gives it to you straight ,no bullshit ,he will criticize when its deserved. he spoke out when Utd started to go backwards because too many players were not good enough and he spoke out about rep ireland ,but was turned into the bad guy on both occasions . he will always struggle as a manager because he will tell under performing ,pampered players their shite and then they stop trying for him .

Going by this seasons transfer fee's ,Keane would also be a billion pound player along with the players he himself named ,football has indeed gone beyond insane.

That's not the type of language us Irish are raised on
You'd expect him to at least give the old Anglo-Saxon f-word that you're raised on an airing

Ok stood up to Fergus 11.

I'm not sure he liked the class of 92.

Currently critiquing how trump dealt with the Houston flood versus how keane would've sorted it in a morning, no fuss or nonsense - just deal with it ffs.

I know we've heard it all a million times but it's still funny.

Extract from Shay Given's autobiography....

Quote:
'Roy is going personal, Roy is going heavy and it feels like Roy is going too far'.

"Why the £#%&! are you asking me a question? Who the £#%&! are you? You were a shit player and you're a worse manager. You're a £#%&!er as a man, you're a £#%&!er as a manager and you shouldn't be managing my country. £#%&! you, and you can £#%&!ing stick your World Cup up your %@#$&!s."

'Mick edges in a word here and there, asking why Roy had not played in the second play-off leg with Iran, and that makes it worse.

'He implies that Roy was fit to play and he has let his country down.

'For about eight or nine minutes Roy keeps it up, slating every last thing he doesn't like about Mick, the Ireland set-up, our preparations for the tournament, the delay in the delivery of our training gear, the state of the practice pitch, our professionalism as a squad — everything he can think of.

'By the end, he's not even raging any more. It's just a total destruction of Mick, personally and professionally.'

'I've never felt collective shock like it,'.

'Twenty five blokes, mute, stunned, tongues cut out, heads scrambled, minds blown.'

What a man.

Would've loved to have seen it happen. One bit of footage I wish was available online.

The last Charity Shield at the old Wembley?

I remember him getting a great reception as he was walking off after his sending off
