It is, but that’s Football isn’t it. Rivalry is everything. After praying to every deity I could think of and checking bbc sport at 9:45 my heart sank it’s gutting.

On the brightside if I could of chosen whenliverpool go out of the cup I may have picked the final, hopefully it will just add to klopps crappy cup final record

Wondered what Tony Evans had been up to. Thought he'd be soaked in Buckfast on a park bench.

On that dreadful night 39 people, mainly Italian, were killed when a wall collapsed. There were many reasons for this avoidable tragedy - a crumbling stadium, inept policing, chaotic organisation - but the bad feeling created in Rome played a significant part in the horror of Heysel.
Wow. The actual reason - violent scousers attacking juventus - doesnt warrant a mention. All the build up is there, you think he’s going to have to face the truth, and then he sidesteps it at the last minute. World class ‘mistakes were made’ rewriting of history. Liverpool the hapless victims of circumstances beyond their control.

The wall collapsed you see? They just do dat dont de dough?

It’s amazing how they have these flukey runs every now and again. Can’t remember a time united had all their best players in top form and everything going our way on the pitch. Even the treble year had bad decisions and obstacles in our way.

The scousers have an expectation, a belief, around the champions league that united never have, and sometimes everything clicks as a result.

Take Salah out and they’d struggle

Hopefully he’ll be out for the final.

Scouse will go out next week thanks to their halfway collapse late on yesterday.

Roma outshot them 8-1 once salah went off, the roma ultras will stab him pre match and he'll be shook.

Once the scousers embarrass themselves once more we'll see if andyroo will praise them for their brainless gung ho approach.

Lovely thought, but that's all it is unfortunately. One goal less in it and things just might have been different, mind
