Stupid to write a book now but success is subjective. Without going 'you don't need trophies to be a winner'...what he's done there is very impressive.

maybe but objectively the only real success he's had is earning a living in the uk.

He's done well at two small clubs. Won nothing and probably never will until he £#%&!s off to Spain.

You do have to win trophies to be a winner. That's what the the word "winner" means.

But you don't have o win trophies to be a good manager. Developing players is what he is very good at.

Very clear ability to build a side too. He's probably doing as well with Spurs on their budget as is possible.

Wonder if Fergie is still working on him
