Jesper Blomqvist's knee.
Good first season, played with a foot injury all season, came back and was looking much stronger and sharper in pre-season, scored a cracking volley in Australia, then injured his knee and was never seen in a United shirt again I was always a big fan, and his signing had as much to do with us winning the treble as Stam or Yorke, the first time we had had a proper alternative or understudy to Giggs. |

If you recall, the season before Giggs missed 2-3 months of the season with his hamstring and we ended up potless. He made a big difference and it took until the arrival of Park to really replace him. |

For instance, he played in the CL Final on the left, Giggs on the right and Beckham in the middle. Without him Jonathan Greening might've had to play OK, he didn't score the goals Yorke did, or offer the presence of Stam, but he was still every bit as important in my eyes. |
