I'd say there's a decent chance of something like this happening. As long as Ferguson is still in charge he is not going to get someone in who will rock the boat.

He needs to be in control like he kept saying in his book, so if Moyes goes then it will be an ex-player like Giggs/Scholes/G Neville or close friend Walter Smith/Alex McCleish etc. as long as it is down to Ferguson.

Bobby Charlton was also a shite manager who was in charge at Preston.

Club legend (goes without saying) but you might as well have Pele pick the next manager FFS

Getting through against Olympiakos probably saved him. Hard fought defeats against city and Bayern will be seen as progress. No way are Ferguson and Charlton getting rid.

Stop £#%&!ing about. Get on the blower to Johann Cruyff, tell him to come to OT and oversee the re-buliding and employment of proper footballing people and implementation of a proper footballing style from top to bottom.

Are you questioning his journalistic integrity, Ashley?

Scholes as manager All fine until the job starts clashing with his schedule to pick up his kids from school and his daily trip to McDonalds for his McChicken sandwich.

"Involving Sir Alex Ferguson" ... so no chance of DM going anywhere then

Don't think Giggs and Scholes have enough experience to take over esp the mess we are in atm. They can assist Klopp though...

This is £#%&!ing painful. Replace a rancid sticky turd with two (polished) turds. Bit of noise about Arsenal eyeing up Klopp if Wenger, out of contract in May, goes at the end of the season too

That stories even exist in the media about David Moyes being replaced is a good thing.

I wish Fergie would just £#%&! off tbh. We're Manchester United not Ferguson FC ffs. Always said he should have no say in his successor, you'd never see that happening anywhere else.
