So your answer is to put a winger in as right back.

Hello Ferie.

You're completely wrong. Rafael is among the top 5 right backs in the world.

Moot point really, as what we'll get is

DDG
Jones
Rio
Vidic
Evra

Valencia
Carrick
Fellaini
Young

RVP
Rooney

For what it's worth, I'd go

DDG

Rafael
Rio
Vidic
Evra

Carrick
Fellaini

Nani
Kagawa
Rooney

RVP

with the 3 behind RVP in a fluid formation, switching wings/central as needed

De Gea

Rafael Rio Vidic Evra

Carrick Fellaini

Nani Kagawa Rooney

RVP

Front four not rigid, let them roam if and when it's needed.

Full backs pushing on (as usual), with both CMs sitting deep it shouldn't be a problem.

Dunno why everyone thinks Moyes is under pressure, reckon I could do his job on a 3 day week (and no, that's not a pro-Glazer comment).

What's this obsession all of a sudden with putting Nani on the right of a midfield 3? Did he grow brains and positional sense as well as an ability to tackle overnight that I missed?

Completely agree with gbmufc tbh, makes so much sense.

Tony would be one of the best right backs in the world, Much better on the over lap rather than having to beat a man. Strong as an ox, pacey, can tackle. Hes got the lot.

Although I love Raf, and he had his best season last year but Tone would be better nqat.

De Gea
Rafael
Jones
Vidic
Evra
Carrick
Fell..Anderson
Nani
Kagawa
Rooney
Van Persie

Need some pace in the CB pairing and Utd really need to settle Jones into that role at some point in the near future. Has a much higher potential than Smalling and Evans.

Andy CarrollMK2 can come on in the last 5 mins if Hernandez has not changed the game.

No, but we're also talking about Kagawa getting a game so it's kind of mythical :unicorn:

Yep, got everything that team

If that team ever starts a game, no wait, if those players are all on the pitch at the same time I will eat my hat! I don't even have a hat yet, that's how confident i am that they wont

what you don't want, however, is nani in a midfield three, because that would be kilted madness.
