Default Team v Yonners - The Official Thread.

Dropped 4 points away from home already, don't want to drop any more so gotta go with the best team we can:-

VDS
Rafael
Rio
Vidic
Senegalese Superman
Nani
Fletch
Scholes
Giggs
Berbs
Rooney

I'd go with that too. Although I dont share your confidence in Rafael atm.

I'd play this team.

United to win 1-3, a brace from Berbs.

It's not so muc confidence in him as a wish to develop him long term in that position. It's not like anyone else has played so well at RB as to nail the position down.

Yep; all true homeschool. Hope he does well, him and Naninihio down the right flank could tear them a new one

I'd go with that but I think Fergie will put either O'Shea or Wesley right back.

Not sure that Rio is up to 2 games in a week.

Think we might see more of a 4-3-3 with Fletch, Scholes, Giggs midfield and Nani, Rooney either side of Berbles.

He won't play Rafael against Bolton, they would just put Davies or Elmander on him and launch balls at them.

Same team but with O'Shea or Brown at right back.

Team pretty much picks itself at the moment.

It will be the 11 who played against the Dippers, all rested midweek. JO'Shea will play as he is more 'physical' (allegedly) than Rafael.

Should be okay, I think they are without their two best players, Cahill and Jussi, who are suspended. No doubt the reserve keeper will have a blinder instead.

i think the words you're looking for are 'as physical but less mental'.

Wes still looks well short of any kind of form. If we had any dosh we'd have not renewed his contract and bought a shit hot full back. Harsh but true.

Reckon they'll give Nani a good shoeing, the dirty @#%&!s.

valencia away on weds, wouldn't be surprised to see giggs or scholes rested ahead of that. park, gibson or obertan given a start.

Park will almost certainly play in Valencia. Fergie loves him in Euro aways.

When's MJRamone getting on here to tell us he's got a bad feeling about this one?

I've just realised that we're pretty short of £#%&!ing options really, with Anderson coming back and Carrick out.

I think Scholes needs to play against Valencia. We could do with getting a result there tbh.

Playing Park against this lot would be a disaster. Offers virtually nothing against teams of this ilk and would only serve to give the ball away constantly and breakdown our own attacks.

S'pose could consider resting Scholes for Valencia and playing the fat Brazillian.
