Andy Townsend describing City in the weekly round up programme "that's what football is all about and what the world wants to see. they've got Kompany, Lescott and Mancini. Add to that a full stadium with a great atmosphere. Really showcased what English football is all about"

Thumbs up

BooMoon: Messi joining City

- messi could easily come to us next season, as he has already achived a legacy in spain..... he might as well do it with us..... it would be a deal that would be good for football.

- I live in Barca, and this was said to me by barca fans. They said if he wanted to go for footballing reasons I.E. to further his legacy, they rather he go to city as we would pay the most money.

- 2012-13 is a possibility. Why not join the Champions of England for many years to come.

- Pep Guardiola will come here, messi will follow and our champions league & domestic dominance will begin.

had our 5 a side xmas night out last night

2 of the blues in our party were discussing the date they will win the title

they both want to win it the game BEFORE the derby on 28th april, therefore meaning the united team will have to give them a guard of honour

need to beat these @#%&!s this season

I think that game will decide the champions, them winning the league before then will mean them being 10 points clear before that game.

Let the morons count their chickens as they lead by a mere 2 points before it's even Christmas. I hope the players are doing the same thing.

Plans to fly the new Manchester City plane over the club’s stadium at the weekend were grounded at the 11th hour – after airline bosses realised it was a late kick-off and it would be too dark for fans to see the jet.

Yeah it does get dark when the sun goes down.
