Staggering that we STILL apparently aren’t any closer to signing a centre back.
Or a right winger. Why does everyone forget the right wingers.

Wouldn’t mind seeing Greenwood given a chance at nailing down a spot on the right of a front three, tbh.

De Gea

Wan —- New CB —- Linders —- Shaw

New Mid

New Mid —- Pogba

Greenwood — Rashford — Martial

Obviously Pogba looks like he’ll leave, and there are massive question marks on Martial’s consistency off the left, so we have problems. De Gea still hasn’t signed an extension either.

We’re potentially £#%&!ed.

Is that a staged photo? If that’s de gea behind him, he doesn’t look impressed.

I'm doing my best to avoid all of this as to my eyes it's heading down a similar path to last Summer. I genuinely wonder how active Ed et al are in trying to get deals over the line, easier to give new contracts to the likes of the other Brazilian then actually sign replacements for Herrera and Fellaini.

United have overachieved once in the last six years, every other season the finish has been pretty much as good as it gets for this squad. Last season too. There's not much there to work with IMO, not many getting better. It needs a lot of work, starting this Summer, yet so far Ed et al have erm failed. Two in, no outgoings of note.

However, re Pogba and Lukaku. Can I ask, what's the point keeping two want away players now both have said they want to go. "United do not intend to sell." What good is that, really? Both have shown they can be pretty £#%&!ing unprofessional on and off the pitch when the mood fits and in terms of enabling Ole to actually have a good go at turning this shite sinking ship around why retain them? Why not replace them with players who actually want to play for the club? Does Ed think he's proving a point or winning 'something' if they both end up staying? It'll be high fives all round his London office when the window shuts and they're both still at United but it'll be a matter of weeks before they're stinking out the dressing room with their antics. Ole gone by September?
