TBF that post wasn't a top dadding post, more a case of wtf has happened to football in schools.
Even the "tough" Wythenshawe schools that normally have good teams are £#%&!ing shite

Forgot to mention (no doubt trippers will be all over this post) but we are playing Man City under 11's on Tuesday night and Everton in 2 weeks.

Should be very interesting

why do they want to do that? I thought all the academies only played each other.

You are spot on much school's football is diabolical but then so is much of the club football. It's just not as bad.

They do it to poach the best players from the better club sides

Blackburn took 3 of our lads 2 years ago but luckily for us it was too far to travel for the lads selected.

my little lad is playing for his school team tonight. They are a good little team but struggle with keeping their shape. I lose my voice shouting at the little @#%&!s.

Why play them then? If they want the fixture say you want a signed shirt or football for the club raffle.

Get to see how good my team really are and also helps them get better.

If they are good enough they will get picked up anyway

Ended up losing 6-1 to the berties, £#%&!ing 6-1

Lads played really well tbh except the goalie, he had a shocker, had he played to his normal ability we'd have lost by the odd goal.

City had a young Chinese lad who was the best junior footballer I've ever seen, lightening quick and the ball was glued to his foot, incredible talent for a 10 year old.

My lad scored his first goal yesterday after four seasons

He plays centre half and was having a stormer. To avoid accusations of bias, i'll admit that many times he's been shit, but his confidence is growing this season and he was like Vidic at centre half yesterday. Easily man of the match before we got a free kick twenty yards out

He blasted it, we all went mental

My lad gave away 4 goals in a 5-2 drubbing yesterday but aside from that he played really well.
