Honestly can't see why people disrespect him.
It's typical of today's youth. If he's not Ronaldo or Messi after 2 seasons he's a failure He's a young lad, has done really well in his first 2 seasons and has a lot of potential. Injury permitting, he will go on to have a long and successful career. |

He's great for them, but I'd worry slightly about him being a potential worldy away from Spurs.
Not an exceptional natural talent. He does make lots of bad decisions, touch can be erratic etc. But he retains confidence, which can be partly because of his support network there. I do wonder if you dropped £70m on him and took him out of that Spurs bubble where he's so hero-worshipped, whether his deficiencies could let him down a little under the pressure of the biggest stage. Be interesting to see him at the Euros. He starts, imo. |
