He was banned from driving for 40 months, ordered to pay £800 compensation to a taxi driver, an £85 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

He must also complete a two year community order with 250 hours unpaid work and 30 days of rehabilitation activity.

Blamed being pissed up on childhood bullying.

The court is told Gibson reckons he has five years left as a professional footballer.
