If Coutinho goes their midfield 3 will be Wijnaldum, Henderson and Can. Not the worst but not great, and any injury or suspension screws them. Mid table side.

FSG would consider selling Coutinho and missing out on CL for next season and losing that £80m of CL distributions. Sell him for £100m this season, when we could get £120m next season with the 20% expected increase in transfer fees attributable to the new 2019/22 Prem TV deal at £200m per season for the top 6 teams. And by selling him next summer we'll have an entire year and next summer to get a replacement. Like Naby Keita for his £48m release clause instead of having to stump up £70m this season.
