I think the line up for the Chelsea game will have a few surprises in it on account of the Munich game.

Personally, I'd be tempted to start with Berbatov tomorrow night and save Rooney for Sunday. Presuming Rio is good to start that is.

Park is nailed on to play tomorrow having missed Saturday's game I guess too.

No £#%&!ing way should we be resting Rooney tomorrow. He's already had 9 days off.

Squad for the Bayern match:

Vds, Foster, Pig

Neville, Evra, Rio, Vidic, Evans, Rafael, De Laet

Giggs, Park, Carrick, Nani, Scholes, Fletcher, Gibson, Valencia, Obertan

Rooney, Berbatov, Macheda

I reckon against Bayern we'll see:

VDS

Rafael---Vidic---Rio---Evra

Nani---Carrick---Scholes---Fletcher---Park

Rooney

Chelsea:

VDS

Neville---Vidic---Rio---Evra

Valencia---Carrick---Giggs---Fletcher---Park

Rooney

Give me a break, you have to be joking

Reckon we'll see Valencia Park and Nani play against Chelsea. Don't think Giggs should start.

Agreed. He was awful during his MOTM performance in the corresponding game last season.

Giggs, though he has been equally as good this season, has it has to be said been worse this season.

He's coming back from a long absence and imo there are fresher players.

Looked good enough to me on Satdee. I'd likely go with Park in Munich and Giggs against Chelsea.

No, he really has been missing from 1st and reserve team squads for the last fortnight.

It could be because he is injured.

Weeks like these, even after all these years, I still thank my Dad for taking me to OT and not Maine Road.

oh yes. In my case it was taking me to the City Ground as a 4 or 5 year old to watch Cloughies Forest play Utd (against my old dear's objections about Red Army agro). Never looked back after that match. And all those barren years in between, whilst not forgotten, make weeks like this so much sweeter.
