The Return of JC

I said after Newcastle that we shouldn't look at the table. It's irrelevant looking at gaps and fixtures and other team's result if we're just plain shit. I said I'd look again if we win four of the next five. I'll stick to that. Two in a row so far.

realistically, based on normal circumstances, we're headed for 74 to 77pts

unlikely to be enough to win the league, although if the top 8 carry on as they have done in the opening 17 rounds it's still possible. goes without saying that we can't afford to lose to any of the other 4 main challengers in the return games though (including the vermin), and probably need to beat City at home.

This thread appears to be one of those just before a humiliating defeat where we all think 'ffs' however I hope not

I beleive we can win it, we have a team that knows how to

do you really think arsenal or liverpool can mount a sustainable season? they will start to falter soon

chelsea - its not their year

man city worry me the most

I fear we have lost just a bit too much ground , however i could be wrong. I think we will finish 2nd/3rd providing we maintain a strong run of form from now untill the end

its certianly not impossible

It was not Chelsea's year when they won the champions league out of nowhere

Except we haven't won £#%&! all for years and keep saying this is our year.

Even winning the league we call most of the players shit@#%&!s

Big challenge for Moyes, these teams in the past were beaten before kick off

they were all fair results tbf - could have buried southampton mind, with the chances we had

the everton game is one that got away, though. and cardiff away, so there's 5pts.

chelsea and city could easily be 5pts better off as well though, and that's why the table is so close and the winning points tally looks like being quite a bit lower than normal

These weren't lucky results either, we were well beaten by Newcastle and WBA. Southampton also deserved their draw.

Those run of results against Cardiff, Spurs, Everton and Newcastle where we took 2 points from a possible 12 were absolutely appalling.

We won't be closing the gap on anyone until we get carrick back for a starters and our best players manage to string something resembling a few decent performances together without crumbling like shit@#%&!s at the first sign of decent opposition.
