Yeah, except it was borderline at worst. The hysteria was the kind you get for a horrendously blatant dive, which it wasn't.

Wasn't even borderline, Gomez took Carrick's knees and then managed to get a finger tip on the ball. If it had been at the other end it would never have been debated.

Greatest moment in a long time has to be today, seeing the seemingly ever-present unflushable turd finally £#%&!ed off out the starting XI.

It's a penalty. There's case for not being, but it's a penalty. It's non-incidnet, but only we could get shit for that and have it remembered eight years later in a game with six other goals.
