Second half against Spurs 2-0 down at HT. Rooney and Ronaldo were utterly unplayable in that 45.

It was all Redknapp could say really. They were thoroughly schooled. Could have been 8.

All he could say maybe , there was no need for the media to swallow his spin so uncritically. It remains a favourite "myth" of ABUers to this day

Our supporters can be pretty one eyed with that one . That decision turned the game, we had to score in that ten minutes you feel as we'd got to the hour mark when The Gomes Carrick incident occured.

Yeah, except it was borderline at worst. The hysteria was the kind you get for a horrendously blatant dive, which it wasn't.

Wasn't even borderline, Gomez took Carrick's knees and then managed to get a finger tip on the ball. If it had been at the other end it would never have been debated.

Thumbs up

Greatest moment in a long time has to be today, seeing the seemingly ever-present unflushable turd finally £#%&!ed off out the starting XI.

Bet the @#%&! will be praying we play shit as he stinks out the bench. Scouse #@&%!.

Bad rep me, don't care!

I'd have been absolutely raging had Gerrard been awarded that in that title race.

Because he's Gerrard, not because it wasn't a penalty.

Absolute stick on penalty.

Rooney was £#%&!ing brilliant from Wide Left that day, Scored 2, made 2

It's a penalty. There's case for not being, but it's a penalty. It's non-incidnet, but only we could get shit for that and have it remembered eight years later in a game with six other goals.

That third goal

I think that was the game that finally got Webb his shirt. Legend.
