One, three, four ; I just don't get it. Slow feet, bad decision making, poor technique. What he was should be irrelevant compared to what he is now. Of course he'll still do the odd good thing, but can you even remember the last time Rooney ran a game like De Bruyne did today? That was the difference, not tactics.

Nearly as bad as rooney today

Both supposedly world class, both ineffective. G2c rooney blowing out his arse for the last 30 though. Thought stamina was his strong point....?

Bunks and Parters squashing it quick-smart

Back on topic you've got to be disappointed with Poggers today. We bought him for this kind of game and he got taught a lesson by Silva et al. Nowt to worry about but he could do with a big performance next big game.

Was alright IMO. Some great skill to get past City players and was up for the fight.

In the first half I think he and Fellaini were left out to dry with Miki and Lingard all over the place. Neither could control the ball but they made it too easy for City to play out down the wings. Mourinho prides himself on shape and organisation. Those two let the team down.

Yeah he showed some great skill to get past a couple of city players in our own half then strode forward and played some absolute Fellaini passes

He didn't do well overall...

He had One moment when he held off two players and came out with the ball...it's odd he didn't play badly, because he actually wasn't in the game..

You have to be in this type of game.

Good flashes but a poor performance on the whole.

He's still getting up to speed after faffing about across the pond for three weeks.

He'll be fine, will have far more good games than bad ones this season.

Struggled badly with the pace of the game no surprised. Was effectively out on his feet in the last 15 mins. Looked like a player who had done no pre season tbh.
