I still don't like him. Good shot stopper, don't like his jumping ability, shown again today with the header he saved.

Will get better though.

Tbh I'm not his biggest fan, always a wait and see approach, but felt he escaped a lot of criticism where PiG would've been slaughtered. However, I'll hold my hands up and say he's done very well in the 3 league games. I thought he was excellent today. Not just in terms of his saves but the way he controlled the penalty area.

Still a long way to go mind but it's been promising.

The point I'm making is that it's too early to judge after a pre season friendly (that's what the charity shield is)

Now he's had 3 games on the bounce in the league and has looked very good.

Mistake a game apparently Very important save just after 1-0 and we then went down the other end and made it 2.

tbh this forum has pissed me off no end this week, as ste said it's as bad as RAWK sometims.

Time will tell with Foster. He is certainly capable of making great saves, but he needs to ensure his kicking, positioning, taking of crosses and command of his box is top notch over a sustained period.

So far so good.

His kicking still frightens me at times, no complaints about his handling though.

Nowt wrong with him. i'd be nervous if i was playing infront of the england boss at wembley on the opening day of the season having read all the press making him out to be the new shilton.

good on him.
miles better distribution than VDS

after a very ropey performance in the charidy shield he has improved with each game, very competent performance today and the defenders in front of him seem to have full confidence in him unlike pig, if he continues to improve then the future looks good for him.
