no, not blaming Anderson, and Giggs should have done better. However I think he was expecting Anderson to pull away from the marker and head to the right (back post), whereas instead he continued his run tucked right behind the defender. He wouldn't have got the ball even if it had been inch perfect (as the defender would have got to it first).

which still would have been better. there could have been a own goal. chipping it out of play was a woeful effort.

you miss my point. I think if Anderson would have pulled away to the right he would have been able to make the cross and have a free header at goal. Might be wrong (will have to watch the replay of it again, mind).

A studs-up lunge into Giggs' knee? Typical Gray really. When you see some challenges that get you a red these days, such as that Russian bloke for Everton last week, that was much worse.

We just dont have an attacking edge, we could play for days with and not score. £#%&! all chance of us doing it in the next half hour when its most needed, no chance of us getting one though.

Anyone who wouldnt take a 0-0 now is a nutter.

If anyone is going to score on that pitch it will be Rooney. Or possibly Drogba or Lampard, maybe Anelka.
