Going back just a few years and this would have had everyone circling the wagons, seige mentality kicking in, Louis Van Gaal's Red and white army booming around the Britannia and on to glory. Sad to say we're more likely to see a few Mourinho cardboard cut outs and boo's if we're not 1-0 up after 5 minutes.

Woodward is a dick of the highest order. Everything about his tenure is shoddy and full of late responses to salvage a bad situation in which the club are made to look like mugs.
He knows Mourinho's free. He's conceded Guardiola is off to City...yet Chelsea are going all out for him now?? He's not got the balls to sack LVG so by sticking his sly briefs out there, he wants a resignation. I think January will be telling. If Louis really has the trust of the board he'll be given what he needs to strengthen. Inactivity will suggest they will give a new manager in the summer to adjust this squad to his needs. |
