Since he was appointed the Ref for the Final I've only heard mention of the penalty against Spurs (2 seasons ago) mentioned on TalkSport about 15,000 times.

Why do people only remember Refereeing mistakes that 'favour' Manchester United??

I didn't hear the same levels of Public vitriol & whining after Refereeing decisions cost us the Title last season, both at Stamford Bridge & Old Trafford against Chelsea. Funny that. We had to 'take it on the chin' because 'they even themselves out' etc...

Presume FIFA couldn't find a referee who'd never ever made a mistake.

Can't be arsed digging up the post, but I complained about the quality of reffing in the world cup and Blatter et al ensuring it was a 'world' cup regardless of quality

Uzbekistan refs etc (see Ingurlands non-goal)

Borsuk, "Mr I'm the only one on here who has a valid opinion on football" piped up with "well lets wait until Englands specimen is unleashed" or some such

So "Mr football", was I right!??

Thankyaverymuch in advance and in deficit of your confirmation as I know your ego won't permit you to accept the fact you may have been wrong!

one complimentary ticket each official gets ffs. You get to referee the World Cup Final and can only invite one person. Understand his Dad is going while his wife and kids have to watch like the rest of us on the box.

Thought he did pretty well considering the fact that it was the final and it was quite a dirty match.

Dealt with Robben fairly well too - the whining 'praying to the heavens everytime a decision goes against him' @#%&!.

8/10 for Webby.
