Default Team for QPR...

Considering just about every tabloid has been speculating about this all week, who do you reckon LVG will start with on Sunday.

Personally would like to see the following:

DDG

Evans - Blind - Rojo

Rafael-----------------------------------Shaw

Herrera - Di Maria

Rooney
Falcao--------------RVP

Thumbs down

Our defensive options look shambolic going into this game.

One of Valencia/Young will definitely start. Probably both.

Just looking forward to seeing Di Maria, tbh.

It's as good as it's been all season. Rojo, Shaw and Rafa all fit. Jones is the only doubt. You'd best get used to the shambolic options as this is it

Apparently.

Although quite what Rooney would do without that Valencia shaped statue rooted to the touchline is anyones guess.

Pretty much the same as my original suggestion; I envisage Blind being in the back 3 but stepping forward more, with Rojo and Evans shoring it up just behind (Smalling and Jones are both supposedly out so that would rule out some of the other previous suggestions). The big question of course is the attack and who plays just behind them (in all likelihood I think he'll play Mata behind Rooney and RVP and bring on Falcao after 70 minutes).

I think falcao will start on the bench . Rooney will start .
I think valencia will start ahead of Rafael too unfortunately

If he must play 3 at the back:

(and Rafael and Jones are fit)

Yup, that seems to make sense. The front three are interchangeable and maybe you could have a little pointy arrow instructing Mata to take up positions on the right as well, but that defence (Jones/Evans) seems to make the most sense considering the philosophy the LVG keeps going on about.

I'm quoting this because it's so damn pretty and probably what mad lulu will go with.

on the basis jones/smalling out:

de gea

rafael - evans - rojo - shaw

valencia - blind

di maria - herrera - rooney

van persie

put falcao on for whichever of van persie and rooney looks least interested.

I have no idea if LvG will now finally move away from 3 at the back but this is how I would line us up

Rafael--Evans---Rojo---Shaw
--------------Blind------------------
----Herrera--------Di Maria----
---------------Mata----------------
--------Rooney---RvP------------
