Yes, even if not the total finished article he is far from our biggest worry at present.

Him and Shaw were the only decent things until Jesseh turned up.

Shaw?
He had one decent shot 1st half. His crossing was abysmal All our chances were created from the other FB

His final ball will improve with time but he was getting into good positions on the overlap which has barely happened in the last year on that flank. Gave more space for Rashford although he didn't make much use of it.

I thought it was a good performance overall from Shaw given his circumstance.

Love Poggers on song but have a nagging feeling he could turn out a more expensive Nani, albeit different position.

Matic makes us so much better and hopefully another 2/3 decent signings will not only improve the team in their own right but lift other players around them.

Not using him right atm. With our lack of quality he needs pushing forward. Plays some great balls from deep but I want to see him involved further up.

Pings a lovely long ball to the front man but does he have the brain to play deep midfield?

Shouldn’t be playing deep mid

Currently, him, Matic and De Gea the only players we can count on

Shocking state of affairs

Is a number 10 clearly, but, as our only other decent midfielder is Matic and Jose likes to play 2 relatively deep, has to play there instead. Which means we're forced to rely on Juan nice but dim or the Armenian superstar, neither of whom regularly dictate attacking play.

A lot of people scoffed at the attempt to sign Perisic but it's infinitely clear from what I've seen he's better on the left than any other option we have.

The entire club needs a lift but as siders said somewhere, there's no point in going mad in January unless the right option pops up. I'm not sure Ozil is it - a solid centre mid who can free up pogba would be my choice.
