Darren Bent, 25 goals in 40 games, scored his first goal for England.

Joe Hart is the best English keeper in the league, but would anyone take him right now over Reina, Cech, or VDS?

I'm not sure, he's a bit lightweight...

Ask me tomorrow.

But has he made a significant contribution over the course of a year? He's another one who hasn't even played a full season, so to chuck him in a team of the year when he's played in a third of the year (signed in September) is a bit harsh on others. Modric definitely should be in.

No, not at all. Malouda's been one of the best players of the last year, never mind best winger. He should definitely be in there.

yes.... over any of them. vds is too old, reina is a clown and cech is a @#%&!.

evra was superb last season until he ran into the ground (like rooney). ¢ole hasn't been great. but terry has been laughably bad - he is getting away with being a lumbering cheat thanks to his card amnesty, but that doesn't help him much with the ball over the top.

very few consistent performers.

sky must have something against the french - sagna, distin, malouda, nasri, nzogbia...

I'd put berbatov ahead of drogba, though.
