Maybe that includes all competitions. I'm talking about PL TV money. We got £53m for the 09/10 season. Barca got £100m for La Liga.

That is a massive gulf.

Sorry, I thought I'd typed £20m, must have skipped a key.

Shocking that we could only get the same as the scousers. We're probably the most famous name in sports. I thought this was supposed to be the Glazers area of expertise "expanding the brand".

Ours is better as we have "Take me home" blasting 10 mins before KO, to "warm up" the crowd.

You would imagine it's at least another £30-50m. They got further than us in most competitions.

Match day is hard to compare. Their stadium is massive but their average attendance is slightly less than ours. Ticket prices are similar, not sure about their executive facilities but you'd imagine ours are better. I'm sure Marlo could confirm

sensible buys?

like Tosic, Diouf, Obertan, the Mexican, Smalling.

the money spent on these would of bought us one decent player for the first team.

oh well.

Rooney in Spain would be like Sparky or Ian Rush at Juve, a total fish out of water.

It would be like living in a foreign country.

You wouldn't want Villa at United

30m for one of the best strikers in the world is a great deal.

Rooney would take an age to settle in Spain. He plays best in a fast powerful team that you don't really get outside of England.
Would be mental to go tbh.
