He's signed a 6 year deal with Chelsea

£#%&!ing hell how's he managed that? for 15m?

He'll end up being a great player for Chelsea now probably.

That, or he will not play and this time next year Chelsea will do their usual trick and sell him for £60 million.

He is a talent and for that fee well worth a punt. Might end up the next Rodwell but it looks a smart move, well until you mentioned the 6 year contract.

Wonder if Utd were at all interested?

Certainly need some enhancements in midfield, could not have contributed much less than Herrera, Carrick and Fellaini this year.

Utd have to be smarter in the market, rather than just focusing on pure spending. Different situation but Bayern for example continue to pick up these good players coming to the end of their contract, means that they are not having to spend on the level of their European rivals to stay competitive.

if it was 60 mil then no but 15 mil is a great deal for an English player that on form a few years ago looked fantastic.

They're a £#%&!ing special breed alright. They were all losing their shit on twitter about united fans jokingly chanting "you scouse bastard" at Rooney...

...obviously they've forgotten some of the absolute dogs abuse they gave him every year he went back there for 13 years.

In case you hadn't guessed, Joe Anderson is a Bluenose.

He has also "lent" millions from the (distinctly cash strapped) council to help Everton build their new stadium
