Those Russkies take racism to a whole new level.

They've run out of foreigners to attack, so now they go after Russian people who are also white but look a bit funny.

Dunno what they'd make of me, I've got a sun tan so I'd probably get lynched

A black guy doing Russian in the year above me at Uni went out there for his year abroad and after only a few days he got thrown in a van and driven round, with only his British passport saving him from what looked like death or at least a severe beating. He came straight home after that.

It actually shows what ponces the student's were last week. Can you imagine the Met's finest "kettling" those Russians

As to the actual World Cup, I can imagine they will be friendly to all the white Western European fans, as to everybody else, I reckon all bets are off. When we were in Moscow, there was a huge queue at immigration, all Uzbeks who had been waiting for 4 hours, an immigration officer came out and hand-picked all of the white United fans and put them at the front of the queue, but refused to let one of the black lads, who was a United fan, to the front of the queue.

It's a completely mental country, that said any country where you see businessmen in smart suits on the metro at 8:30am supping beer from a bottle is good by me !

Haven't they got a small population for their size? How come they want to keep everyone out?

I can quite imagine what is going to happen in 2018, there will be Ghanaian/South African/Brazillian fans applying for visas etc, and the form will say " What colour are you?" and plenty of ink will be needed for all those stamps that say "refused".

There is virtually no chance of Russia not drawing a group with an "ethnic" team in it, all hell will break lose if they lose against them. Imagine Ashley Young scoring a last minute winner that knocks them out

Went to the final in Moscow with a mate of mine who's mixed raced. The dirty looks that they gave him was unbelievable. They soon looked another way when he started shouting "I'm not a £#%&!ing alien you know!" at them in Red Square.

Well, in fairness we did have to put up with South Africa's 'culture' with the vuvuzelas.

£#%&! me Triesman's let the cat out of the bag

Quote:
Triesman's specific claims are:
- Fifa vice-president Jack Warner asked for around £2.5m to build an education centre in Trinidad, with the cash to be channelled through him - and later wanted £500,000 to buy Haiti's World Cup TV rights for the earthquake-hit nation, again to be channelled through him.
- Paraguay's Fifa member Nicolas Leoz asked for a knighthood.
- Brazil's Fifa member Ricardo Terra Teixeira asked him [Triesman] to "come and tell me what you have got for me", with the implication being that he wanted something in return for his vote.
- Thailand's Fifa member Worawi Makudi wanted to be given the TV rights to a friendly between England and the Thai national team.
