Irani was binned in May.Appears that he was told in the middle of a show that his contract wasn't going to be renewed in the autumn. Most broadcasters in that position carry on working whilst looking round. He spat his dummy and announced he was leaving that day.

Keys and Gray are only doing a friday night preview show from now on.

yeah it was hilarious to listen to his demise ( i feel bad writing that) but the consensus was that he got too big for his boots.
