Sad.
Yeah, he's been great for us and I hope he gets to say goodbye to OT against Palace if he is leaving.

He's gone. Mourinho has confirmed Romero for the EL final, one remaining PL game and he's also giving Pereira a full match debut.

Oh well, toodle-doo Dave. Hope you win absolutely nothing for the remainder of your career with them utter @#%&!s.

He already said goodbye to the four corners of old Trafford on the last day when he was leaving last time....

Seems certain that they're coming for him and surely he will want to go. The two clubs are on different levels atm and he's made that transition from a young keeper to his peak. Navas may be linked again, but I can see is going for a current Premier League keeper.

But would he force the move if we ask him to stay? We've no reason to sell.

At least one more season would be fair imo should we win the europa and return to CL.

Zero keepers in the PL id take tbh, Courtois aside.

Look at the last four years. And look at Madrid headed for potentially a third European cup during that period. He'd almost be mad to want to stay. Only hope could be us making it as difficult as possible. Perez will resent coughing up a fortune for a goalkeeper.

Do they even want him? Why not get him on the (relative) cheap a year ago for the clause agreed in his contract that was only valid summer 2016?

Hopefully a £60m+ pricetag puts them off.

60 million and I would snap their hands off.. Done well for us. A distant 3rd behind Schmeichel and Van De Sar in the fergie years.. will be easily replaced unlike the other 2.. will be funny to see the Madrid fans turn on him after about 3 games.
