Butland set for Rangers too. What was the point of him? Not a single appearance and didn’t even make the bench when Heaton was fit.

Absolutely no point signing him or Dubravka while Heaton was here.

Read somewhere that it’s about having three keepers in training so keep up with the training schedules . Even then maybe you could have your first two keepers and an academy as third? Maybe there’s some sort of registration thing and they don’t see the point in registering a third choice academy keeper . I don’t know, something weird about it.

The thing that annoys me is when you see two keepers on the bench sometimes. even if you have no intention of playing them, let a youth player take one slot. You never know , you could be 5 up by the 85 min and give him a run out.

4 keepers isn’t it?

They’ve had some combination of Dave, Heaton, Bishop, Vitek, Dubravka and Butland this season.

Being a second/third choice keeper in the PL is the best job in the World.

Isn't Scott Carson still at City?

Love some of the random third choice keepers over the years at clubs. Proper leftfield choices.

If City win then Carson will have gone 18 years between European Cup victories. Little bit of trivia: think that may be the record gap. If you know you know.

£38,000 per week.

Absolutely living the dream. Being paid to turn up, train and travel the world.

VDS has the current record. Fingers crossed it stays that way.

At least he played.

Not really sure Carson can look in the mirror and say he won 2 Champions Leagues.

And he Keanes that Norwegian mutant in the last minute.

GOD-LIKE.

(I realise the only part of that with the remote possibility of happening is him Keaneing Haaland, but we can hope)

Bigger chance of him attempting to shoot, miss the ball and kicking haaland in his follow through.

best player - Casemiro, absolute Rolls Royce of a player
worst player - Martial
best signing - Casemiro
worst signing - Weggers, but at least he tries bless him
most improved - AWB/Rashers
most underwhelming - Antony (but room for improvement 2nd season)
biggest suprise - AWB, thought he was gone
managers overall grade - B+ (would be A except for some in-game management and subs issues)

best player - Casemiro (Rashford a very close 2nd)
worst player - Martial
best signing - Casemiro (Martinez a very close 2nd)
worst signing - Would have to say Weghorst even though it's only a loan
most improved - Wan Bissaka
most underwhelming - Sancho
biggest surprise - Wan Bissaka - thought he was on the scrap heap
managers overall grade - B++ (would have been a solid A if it wasn't for a string of really poor, unacceptable results away from home)
