Not suprised with the injuries he's had over the last few years and when everyone's fit we're well covered at RB. He could still teach one or two of the young lads about overlapping play and crossing the ball though.

I can and would like to see him go into management

Thanks for the memories Gaz... if you were a horse you'd have been put out to stud or put down a long time ago.

Did he hever get a testimonial?

Thumbs up

Leeds was a particular low for G.Nev, watching him struggle to track back after trying to support Ober in attack was cringeworthy

This club waits for no one, we have to move on.

Great servant though

legend, one of the last true reds in the shirt tbh. and for over a decade he was in the top three in the world in his position.

time for him to finish, we can all see it. should never have been made captain, tbh, but a couple of years ago giggs looked the more likely to be over the hill.

I'll always remember that nut on Mcmanaman, the celebration v the dippers and the fact he cleaned up in the air despite being 5 9 or something. Solid brave bastard in every type of challenge. And had a £#%&!ing stormer at Anfield in the Diego game.

Couldn't wait. As usual. I'm surprised that fat @#%&! actually decided that coming out of the tunnel with the teams at the beginning of the match was enough for him. I'm sure he'd have much rather have emerged from underneath the centre circle on a podium amidst fireworks with AC/DC's "You shook me all night long" playing.
