Klopp has apparently rested Salah and a couple of others.

They’ll still beat them

First goal on the counter against the run of play after a bright Newcastle start and a dodgy second half penalty.

They’ve got the squad for it now. They can afford to read Salah (who hasn’t been great recently anyway) and they’ve still got Jota, Firmino, Diaz - plenty of options.

Newcastle are decent and their climb has been hugely impressive, but this is another level altogether. I don’t see Liverpool dropping anymore points this season. Best hope is City seeing out their games. Any dropped points for either and it’s done imo.

Got a horrible feeling it’ll be today. City have errors and carelessness in tjem tjst Liverpool don’t. Liverpool will win 2-0 with minimal fuss. City will probably play better, create more and end up £#%&!ing around at the back and drawing
1-1.

I fancy Newcastle to get a penalty today to disprove this theory that Liverpool never get penalties against them*

*in the 89th minute when Liverpool are 4-0 up
