It's pronounced Mik-ee-tar-ee-yan. Also known affectionately as 'Micki' by Dortmund fans.

Lovely little player, btw, and has all the hallmarks of a United attacker - pace, directness, technical ability, courage, creativity. Has the workrate that Mourinho values, too, as well as being fluent in English, which is a nice bonus.

Since signing for Dortmund, I've always thought that he was a very good player, who could become an exceptional player if he improved the consistency of his end product, particularly his finishing; very similar to Nani, in that sense. He seems to have stepped up, as this season (2015/16) he scored 23 goals in 51 appearances; a big improvement on his previous showings at Dortmund of 4 goals in 41 appearances in 2014/15, and 13 goals in 46 appearances in 2013/14.

If we do sign him, it will be a huge boost to a squad that has lacked pace, creativity and goals for much of the last few seasons. He will be used to replace the slow, ponderous, ineffective Mata, who has been a huge disappointment at United, bar the odd Kodak moment.

This one moved quite fast tbh, especially considering Dortmunds early tough talk about not selling. Nothing big Mino couldn't handle considering he was warmed with a steel chair.
