Default watching chelsea-liverpool

i'm shocked. i can hardly believe it. it's crap. turgid, unimaginative shite football. unbelievable.

i mean, i read all the commentators' opinions and it was sure to be a classic.

how could this happen?

I think it's a different sport to the one I saw last night.

It's "effective" though.

That is where football is heading, no room for genius or aestetic pleasentries.

The game as we knew it is dying/dead

It is all a physical battle, long ball, closing down, no real flair other the odd bit from Joe Cole. Totally different to the match last night which proved football can be played at pace, but also with quality.

No surprise though, typical of the the 2 teams .

It's quite funny to watch though. Every time Liverpool get the ball they play it down the left, and I do mean every time.

At one point they were attacking down the right, realised what they were doing, hoofed it back to defence so that they could start again down the left hand side.

I know Ferreira is shit but they're taking the piss.

If the dippers take Bellamy off for Crouch or Pennant, they could take Chelsea here.

It's not that bad. But what the £#%&! is a player like Zenden doing on the pitch?

There have been some chances, but overall, pretty dire.

There's no way there will be more than 2 goals scored at Anfield. Probably just 1, or none.

£#%&! me. The first half was somewhat watchable, but that second half was just dire.

No finesse whatsoever, just two teams lumping it forward and trying to out-muscle each other.

Shocking football. Chelsea had one tactic, hoof it to Drogba and play off that. Liverpool, in a brave and new concept had 2, give the ball to Zenden, or hoof it to Crouch.

Woeful match, and Souness telling it how it is.
