Steele to leave as well as Phelan?

Clive Tyldsley has just said on Talk Sport that Steele has gone this morning along with Phelan

We all expected Phelan to go but I'll be disappointed if Steele has gone as well as Spanish Dave seems to have a really good relationship with him (Steele having learned Spanish and helped him settle both on and off the pitch).

He might be wrong but he just said it's happened this morning.

DdG was both the best and most improved keeper last season, his coach should be given a large chunk of the credit IMO :shakehead:

Very strange if true. Like you say, him and Dave will have been close- and after his first two years here he'll know all about him and where he's improved/still needs to improve etc.

Who had Steele worked with before coming to United? Done a great job with Dave but that doesn't mean Woods can't work well with him in the future.
