How culpable is he and other players (Messi etc.) on this tax stuff?

I can't imagine them being that savy when it comes to finances. Surely their accountants just say "Hey I've got this idea that could save you millions" and they just kind of sign off on it.

Obviously the buck stops with them and they are ultimately responsible, but is it not just a case of poor/dishonest advice most of the time.

That's pretty plausible. I think a lot of footballers are essentially treated as racehorses by their advisers, if you seen what I mean.

Pogba's relationship with Raiola strikes me as like that too - "yeah Paul, you just play football, I'll take care of the boring stuff..."
