Default Tevez...

Doesn't look like he has fully relaxed into his surroundings as yet, glimpses here and there and tons of effort.

I think he needs a goon, a screamer or a last minute winner, something he can just lose his nut and celebrate like crazy, really settle him down, maybe lose a little self consciousness.

Give it time... He's probably not used to the Northern weather, gravy and the fact it goes dark at 3:30 in Manchester.

Look at some of the videos of his goals in the past, he normally goes bonkers, he hasn't done that yet, it might help him relax.

His first goal for West Ham was quality. Threw his shirt in the air and jumped into the stand. £#%&!ing briliant

I've enver heard it used that way before. Is this a new thing? Is it like text speak?

Surely anyone who has read RedIssue in the last 10 years knows what a 'goon' or 'gooning' is. It's where I know it from at least and I haven't bought nor would wipe my arse on it for over a year.

We use it all the time. It's Rochdale and Oldham where they don't use it.

Middleton isn't actually in North Manchester though is it? I can't believe an adult who goes to the football and has regulary over the years hasn't used/heard that. Normally associated with a last minute winner too.

I've not heard 'Goon' for some time!...it used to get used a lot on the 'm-u-f-c.co.uk' forum...
I like it!

Good shout about Tevez, although he did have a bit of a goon after the Chelsea & Wigan goals.
But yeah, a late winner - particuarly in an away game (ie, Anfield next month please God) would be a special moment for him.
I just think he looks more 'himself' when he's playing with Rooney. Unfortunately injuries & exhausting International trips have held that partnership back.

Yea. Thought he was approaching something like his best form with Rooney recently. Really did look like a great partnership in the making. Rooney can't come back quick enough imo, been in fantastic form this season.
