Convinced it’s 90% poor preparation due to whoring the brand over match practice. Didn’t like the Shaw experiment and prefer him attacking the flanks. No wonder Nacho looked out of sorts without his support. How many times did we rehearse this pre-season, and it showed despite the amount of games we had? Absolute shambles of a pre-season. Again, Cass left on his Todd to man the mf alone while we prioritised loading the mf upfront and sick of hearing how they had 23 shots on goal. … mostly in desperation ballooning into row z. Get some minutes into the legs and another body in mf as well as Raz as a focal point to play to instead of every move going backwards when we reach their penalty area. After a respectable finish last season, I don’t think we’ve become that much worse.

Oh, and Onana would’ve saved the £#%&!ing penalty anyway.

(Lads, it’s) Spurs next

Basically we won. That's it.

Crowd was properly shit as well. I mean, i only live half a mile away and you couldn't pay me to go, so i can't be too critical, but for the daft @#%&!s who actually do go, put some effort into it ffs.
