Why would we need a new manager?

Yep.

I’m convinced this is who the board want and they’ll stick with Ole no matter how bad it gets just to get this utter cretin after the World Cup.

It's going to be hilarious when Conte rocks up at Spurs in a week

Appointing Southgate would be immensely popular...with fans of every other club.

West Ham level on points with the Champions.

Should get their boss in 👍

Genuine question - is there an argument we shouldn’t have got rid of him?

I despised him by the end, but maybe I was wrong. Maybe he genuinely did need a bit of time.

We should never have appointed him in the first place.

He can't handle the pressure & expectations of a big club.

Give him some shitty underdog club & he'll do OK with them, because no-one's expecting anything.

Never had the right attitude though - walked in the door talking as if he’d been recruited to fix a mess left by someone, rather than give the current champions a few tweaks. Too negative a mindset. Maybe he learned from that though (after being equally awful at Real Sociedad and Sunderland). The West Ham players are obviously responding to him.

Its his second spell at West Ham as well!

Something does genuinely seem to have changed though, would be absolutely fascinating to know what.

He signed Marouanne Fellaini for Manchester United.

To be fair....

He might have had a point.

Moyes was just overwhelmed with the job, went in to his shell and ended up just trying to get results with the most basic of football.

He definitely seems to have grown in to himself as a confident manager and I can see him moving on to a bigger club in the next couple of years if he keeps WH progressing.
