I could live with Rodgers. Since he left the vermin, I hate him less.

And he's doing well with Leicester.

Worse-case scenario? Benitez or re-hiring Mourinho.

I didn't think the day would come where i would be advocating an ex vermin manager, but the guy can clearly coach, and can pick a player.

Crossed my mind last night, given the lack of imagination at the club.

Thumbs down

Brendan £#%&!ing Rodgers or Gareth £#%&!ing Southgate....

I'd probably jack it in, pick up the results here and there, slowly tail off my viewing....

If I had to have one of those it would be Southgate by a country mile. Ex Liverpool managers ffs.

Rodgers is a late season bottler. We already have one of those.

It's the most embarassing defeat it the club's history. You'll struggle to top that really.

90 mins of the scousers taking the absolute piss while their team decide if they fancy running in 8 or sticking with just the 5.

How can any manager possibly make this worse

One name that hasn't been mentioned is Joachim Löw.

Appreciate he's talked about retiring, but he did a stunning job at Germany for years, implemented a winning culture, with stylish football, and brought through some top young talent.

Reckon he'd do a great job with this United squad.
