I think city will sign him. Aguero will leave soon and they’re not gonna rely on Jesus

Kane wont go abroad. He'll stay and have a crack at Shearer's tally imo.

Unthinkable if that were to happen. He'd hit 35 league goals a season there.

Kane is absolutely a player united would gone all out to sign prior to the glazers. He fits the classic united mould for signings, like Keane, Rooney etc. No question Fergie will be pushing for it in the boardroom.

Will be a big test for the glazers. If city sign him, there’s no more pretending.

How much though? Coutinho deal is going to be £130-140 million. If Kane does well at the WC, with Levy, we could be looking £200 million+. Even City might hesitate at that.

Agree about the profile, picking up the best domestic talent outside the very top clubs has been a more reliable strategy than shopping for established stars abroad. Missed out on Bale at a bad time.

What happens to Lukaku?

Read that Barca are gonna offer 140mil for Coutinho. Kane will be an astronomical fee if that happens. Especially with Levy involved.

Edit: Tibs. Great minds.

Just insane what has happened to the market this year. Only 18 months ago the record breaking fee for Pogba felt an overspend. Now looks a bargain. Such a pity Utd wasted so much money when they were outspending everyone in Europe between 2014-2016, that was the window to make a leap.

The time to get Bale was the summer before Real did. That would have been 2012, Utd were still in that Value period.

Get him then and we would have had 4-5 peak years of a top 10 player in the world. Even with fore knowledge of injuries I would still make that signing.
