i love the man.

i pulled a muscle gooning to his injury time winner against the scousers in the fa cup. spent the next week walking around like gladstone small.

First name i had on the back of a shirt as a kid. Was nearly in tears when I heard he was linked with Spurs.

Was much more excited about signing Poborsky that summer.

What a flash in the euro 96 pan that chump was.

He did however provide a fantastically amusing moment when he landed on both knees in the box and face planted. I have it on a season review somewhere.

Poborsky was a good player . No idea why fergal bought him tbh .

Top clip of the professional foul .... That was utterly immense . Never forgotten that moment .
