I think we'd be daft to underestimate that performance. Spurs have played well this year and could quite easily have come here and beat us. We shown resilience for the full 90 and played the ball out brilliantly at times. Small steps and all that but we're looking like a team more and more each week and Jose is working out his best team week on week.

That was like that Arsenal game in 1996 after we'd lost 4 out of 5 games. Winterburn scored the own goal and people were baying for the final whistle.

Yep Jones was awesome

Read the game brilliantly and very rarely had to lunge in. That tackle on Rose Last going off

Quiet, you have predicted that both Arsenal and Spurs would rinse us at OT now

(didn't Poborsky miss a sitter late on in that one, btw?)

Only look forward brother

We're only getting better, sure its frustrating to know wed be in the title mix up if wed just fixed half of those draws into wins(in reality most of the draws should have been wins) but thats the past.

We're only getting better, palace wba sunderland next? 7 out of 9 minimum and we look primed for new yrs

Yes. He's been very good since he's come back. I've always thought he was the best of our defenders. It just became an irrelevance because he can't stay fit. I don't expect him to now either, so I'm not getting too excited.

Players coming back in are doing well. Best players are starting to improve and he's picking a better, more consistent side. Just get Bailly on, Darmian out and pray for mikhi.

He has this reputation of being reckless, but how many penalties has he given away for Utd, how many times has he been sent off?. He reads the game well, is good on the ball, not Blind level but very capable, and is extremely brave and committed.

There is a reason why he was so highly rated as a youngster, not just by Fergie but Capello as well.

Yep - Spurs were competitive and not at all powder puff. Just lacked a cutting edge. Did well to see that out after Thursday.

Corner turned.
