Pincer!

Cavalry up the middle, bring the infantry in from the sides, but keep your armour in reserve. Make sure you get that fat @#%&! of a centre half first or you'll regret it!

Then you can all have a laugh and drink in the bar afterwards.

if you have any less than 4 defenders playing sunday league you are asking for trouble, because most are fat £#%&!ers they will say up the pitch and get killed on the break.

I ran a Saturday League team in the Bury Amateur League and then the Lancashire Amateur League for 8 years. The main formation was 4-4-2, used by most teams, including myself however I sometimes adopted a 4-5-1 formation depending on the opposition.

Started with a team called Fairfield. Got promoted from Division 2 to Division 1 and then a couple of seasons later took over Tottington United and ran them for a season before I jacked it all in.

Did you play in that league?

as manager and captain of the double winning side of the camden musicians league 2004 i can tell you that the answer is

10 - 1

the 1 being my mate maz who was £#%&!ing electric, we all gave him the ball and he scored...from pretty much anywhere. think the argies '86 (we even cheated a bit)

you would think this a hollow victory, you would be wrong. we celebrated like we'd won the league, the cup (well we had) the world cup and the grand national

happy days

I dont remember ever gettin smashed off Gregs!! Do remember a couple of close games, they never used to like playing us over at our place - bit rough I think

I remember 1 game against them which we lost 4-3. The ref red carded me.... cost me £40 the £#%&!er (or should I say cost the club £40!!)
