Absolutely. I protested in 2005, joined SU and will not be protesting this bid as it does not jeopardise the future of the club.

Up the Reds.

Damn £#%&!ing right.

When the Glazers saddle us with £800m in debt and take millions out of the club, all you hear from pundits:

“Why are United fans complaining, the spend loads”

No talk about running one of the great clubs into the ground. Oh no.

As soon as someone comes in and wipes all that out, promises to restore their place, consider the fans and not to take a penny out of the club

“Ooooh, is this good for football”

No. No you had your chance. You lavish praise on city and everything they’ve done.

It's great they shine a light on LGBT rights from the Qatari's and getting spokespeople from Gay supporters clubs

It's only fair since they do the same about Abu Dhab....oh hold on

Again I'm completely on board by holding these sport washing nations to account. But not a word has been uttered in the last 20 years about ownership of clubs by nation states. Why is this the straw that breaks?

5m bid

He's blown big Jim out the water before it's even got going. Literally walked in and placed his giant balls on the table.

Done deal.

This. Was there in 05, was there in 2010 and was there in 2021.

If, and of course that’s a sizeable “if”, but if the stated ambitions are genuine then it is music to my ears.

17 years of debt, propping up failing business across the pond, fundamentally undeserved dividends stolen from the club to the tune of hundreds of millions of pounds, acceptance of sporting mediocrity, and the ruination of the club I love. The very notion that it’s almost over and we may instead once again have stewardship who want us to be the standard by which all other clubs are judged is almost too much for me to accept.

With the right people making the decisions the sky is the limit. But I’m not letting out a breath until it’s confirmed those parasitic bastards are gone, never to darken out doors again.

He's the son of an ex prime minister. It looks like he's been chosen by the emir to be the face of the bid. His personal wealth is irrelevant really.
