i've said this before, but there was something about the 1990s i loved.... right from Italia 1990 through Ajax, AC Milan being handy, up to us winning the treble.... some phenomenal players, games and even kits.

Serie A in the early 90's pisses all over the current Premier League. It was ridiculous just how much talent was playing in Italy at the time. Thanks to the Italians three foreigners rule, world class players were spread throughout the League. In 1992 Napoli (defending champions) had Maradona, Careca, Caniggia. Milan (double European Cup winners) fielded Gullit, Rijkaard and van Basten. Inter Milan had the World Cup winning trio of Klinsmann, Matthaus, Brehme. Juventus bought Roberto Baggio that summer. But it was the Sampdoria of Vialli and Manchini that won the Scudetto
