Gavi, Pedri & Fati are all absolutely different class, look forward to seeing them but Spain in general

Spain very tika-taka team with no goals. Still be far too good for a poor Costa Rica though. 4-0.

Hasn't started. Might get subbed on but he's 37 and not scoring at his club.

Ooh that was class.

Embarrassing lack of enthusiasm in the stadium.

Spanish fans not exactly notorious travellers for both club and country. Costa Rica, small country £#%&!ing miles away and no hopers. Doesn't fill you with optimism does it?

Looked blatant to me, you can't go through the back of anyone like that & expect to get away with it.

G.Nev's assertion that Spain can't score goals beforehand looking a smidge off the mark - Navas helping them out with that mind.

He’s barely tapped his heel. They want players to stay on their feet and not dive then give fouls for the merest touch and collapse

United aren’t getting a penalty for that ever.

Third decent team so far. France and England the others. Can't see many more outside of Brazil.

There's no one in world football who wouldn't go down if tackled, no matter how softly, from behind like that when the ball is the literal other side of his leg - ridiculous from the defender.
